Abaya Raincoat

Unfortunately the jacket didn’t quite live up to the hype. The cut, although designed to wear over abayas is not quite right and the short sleeves are hugely uncomfortable. Always happy to support Muslim brands but sadly this is overpriced for what it is and has missed the mark.

I am 5 foot 2 inches so I bought the black rain coat size 48 inches,length was ok but the sleeves were too short and were reaching only
three quarters. It was recommended by the add☹️

I have the 1st Gen Coat in Khaki and the 2nd Gen in Black and there is such a noticeable difference in design and production. 1st Gen coat was more like an overcoat - no lining, more like a raincoat to wear over another jacket or coat. 2nd Gen coat was clearly designed as a solid outer coat, with a nice plush fleece lining and great overall feel and warmth when worn.
The quality is impeccable - best winter/raincoat I've purchased in a long time and it's so good to see a brand actively evolve and improve existing designs as opposed to following fast fashion trends. Love that the money I spent is reflected so well in the quality of the coat and it's a coat that I know I would be able to happily wear in 10 years and happily repurchase if need be. Most likely will offer my old coat to someone in fam who needs a raincoat or donate if I no longer need it but would love if they offered a buy back scheme i.e. offering to buy the old design coats to recycle/repurpose; good way to reduce waste in the long run from both customers and manufacturers.

A beautiful coat that keeps me warm and modest. I like that it’s oversized and allows me to layer up without feeling too hot or like I’ve got too much on. The only downfall is the arms are quite short. Other than that, I am happy with my order. Thank you!

It’s a lovely coat, not too heavy but has some weight to it.
If it’s a small rain shower - this rain coat will be lovely. Autumn or spring.

We currently have storm Bert - it’s not a great choice.

Lastly, the arm length is very short. I’m 5ft 7 and my wrists & small part of my arm was not covered.
It was similar for my mum who is 5ft3.

The length of coat is great - I got 56. Lovely for me too long for mum at 5ft3/5ft4
